Very lovely antique metal head doll.
Minerva Antique Doll, 46 cm (18”), 1900 Germany,
manufactured by Buchow & Beck. Mark on back GERMANY 6 1/4
In the year 1900, Sears & Roebuck advertised this specific doll in their catalog.
Mark on front. Minerva with logo (hard to read) Open Mouth with two porcelain teeth.
Metal Shoulder head with painted features on a
very nicely shaped straw filled cloth body and legs.
The shoulder head is attached to the body with
the original strings.
Composition arms (one finger on right hand broken)
Mending was done on the right foot.
Nice condition.
